Radio Holland Belgium Land Mobile Solutions
The Land Mobile Technology department is specialized in different domains. We have several years of experience with a great variety of customers. We always look for the most cost efficient solution which links on to the Communication- and Safety requirements of the customer.
In this case we use Satellite Communication in the first place. Radio Holland Belgium is a Provider for Iridium and Inmarsat. VSAT also belongs to our core business and is an important player in Satellite Communication.
Communication
Iridium: 9555 and 9575 (Extreme) handsets and communication with Postpaid and Prepaid SIM Cards. These units and services are mostly used by Governmental Organizations, NGO’s Companies, travelers and people on their yachts.
Inmarsat: Is well known for their Maritime applications. For Land Mobile we can offer small and intelligent BGAN units from Thrane&Thrane, toghether with tailor made airtime solutions. T&T Explorer 500 and 700 are mostly used.
VSAT: This application is very important in the Land Mobile environment. It is the only Satellite Solution if you need large bandwidths. It can be used in the most remote areas on the Globe. It is mostly used by Governmental Departments, NGO’s and Companies.
Security
Track&Tracing: Our VTS BlackBox is a track & tracing device which is Iridium Satellite based. You can follow your assets in the most remote area. It is also equipped with a “Panic Button” and an official call chamber, where further action can be organized in case of emergency.
Observation
Thermal imaging cameras from FLIR are not only used for maritime applications, but also for security reasons, on land. They can guard buildings and surrounding sites.
They also have an important role in the petrochemical industry where they are used to surge for leaks of dangerous products.
